WELCOME TO THE PARK PUBLICATIONS WEBSITE. We currently publish two quarterly magazines: Scribble, our short fiction magazine, has been around since early 1999 and contains quality short stories from new and established writers. In December 2007, Scribble was awarded the title ‘Best UK Short Fiction Magazine’ in the Writers’ Grand Circle Awards. Countryside Tales was launched in 2000 and contains poetry, articles and short stories with a countryside feel. NEWER WRITERS may be particularly interested in our soon to be published fiction magazine, and critique service. The magazine, which will be titled Debut, will be aimed primarily (but not exclusively) at unpublished writers and will offer the chance to have work assessed by an experienced fiction editor. WRITING COMPETITIONS (For full details of our writing competitions please click on ‘competitions’ on the left) WE ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING SEVERAL COMPETITIONS FOR WRITERS. CASH PRIZES ARE ON OFFER PLUS PUBLICATION IN OUR MAGAZINES. ENTRY FEES ARE AS STATED FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION.
